A New Chapter: Choosing Alignment, Energy, and Work That Feels Right

In November, I transitioned out of my previous role. It became clear that our perspectives on marketing and the direction it needed to take weren’t fully aligned, and that’s okay. I’m grateful for the experience and genuinely wish the team well. They're building strong technology with the potential to improve organization's Kubernetes infrastructure.

A Career I’m Grateful For
I’ve been incredibly fortunate to build a career across open source foundations, large global companies, and ambitious startups. I’ve led marketing, advocacy, community, partner marketing, developer engagement, and just about everything in between. I’m a writer, speaker, and planner.

My career has never been about surface-level activity. It’s been about telling the story of a technology in a way that clicks. Helping people discover something new. Bringing communities together. Creating clarity out of noise. Partnering across teams and ecosystems. And doing all of this with one clear goal: driving demand and meaningful engagement for the product.

Whether at CNCF, FreeBSD, Outshift by Cisco, startups like Sidero Labs, or the many B2B SaaS companies I’ve supported, the part I’ve always loved most is sharing the message with the world and watching it spark energy.

What I’m Looking Forward To Next
With that context, I’m stepping into the next chapter with more clarity than ever about what matters to me and where I can make the most impact.

I’m looking to work with organizations where:

1. I believe in the product
I want to tell stories I’m genuinely excited about, technologies that matter, solve real problems, and make people’s lives easier.

2. The team is filled with great and kind people
Life’s too short. The best work happens with smart, humble, collaborative teams who care about outcomes while sticking with their values and caring about each other.

3. I can bring my experience to actually move marketing and community forward
I love helping teams level up by building strong messaging foundations, improving go-to-market, creating community momentum, enabling sales, and partnering to reach new audiences who may not know you yet. All of this works together to expand awareness, spark demand, and bring a calm, strategic lens to the chaos of startup life.

That’s where I do my best work.

What’s Next
I’m excited for this chapter and open to a range of opportunities. I work with organizations in whatever way best supports their marketing leadership needs whether contract, fractional, or full-time. The goal is simple: help teams move faster with clarity, alignment, and strong execution.

Thank you to the people who have supported, advised, and encouraged me through this transition. I’m grateful and energized for what comes next.

If you’re building something meaningful and want help telling your story, growing your community, or bringing clarity to your marketing, I’d love to talk.
