Living in the mountains means the outdoors has a way of becoming part of everyday life. Some days that means a hike, other days it’s pickleball, maybe its stopping to take a picture of a gorgeous sunset, or just relaxing on the back deck and watching wildlife wander through the yard.
This is a collection of those everyday moments - outdoor living, changing seasons, photography, wildlife, activities I enjoy, and the beautiful place I'm fortunate enough to call home.
Most mornings in my life are made for a hike. On a recent Sunday, the sun was shining and we had nowhere we needed to be. After I finished my cup of coffee, we jumped in the car and headed toward the Rio Blanco area to hike the Opal Lake Trail.
