Writer. Advisor. Uncovering stories worth telling.
After more than thirty years in marketing, I'm spending more time writing, exploring life at 7,500 feet, and helping a small number of founders, nonprofits, and organizations discover what makes them different.
I spent my career helping organizations launch products, build communities, and grow businesses. What I loved most were the conversations. Sitting with founders, leaders, and customers until we uncovered the story that made the marketing almost write itself.
I've stepped away from making work the center of my life, but I haven't stopped being curious about it. I still follow what's changing, occasionally advise organizations, and have plenty of thoughts about marketing, business, technology, communities, and the way we work.
This is where I'll share those thoughts, along with lessons learned over a career spent building things.

Most mornings in my life are made for a hike. On a recent Sunday, the sun was shining and we had nowhere we needed to be. After I finished my cup of coffee, we jumped in the car and headed toward the Rio Blanco area to hike the Opal Lake Trail.
